I welcome today's decisions at the Association Council:
• Participation of 🇺🇦 in #DigitalEurope
• Funding for education, housing, agriculture
• Cooperation on customs & tax
Derzeit sind 🇪🇺-weit nur 20% der Sammlungen digitalisiert, viel weniger ist online verfügbar. Nach unserer Empfehlung sollen bis 2030 40 Mio. neue digitale Datensätze in das @Europeanaeu Portal eingespielt werden. Prioritäten liegen auf gefährdetem & vielbesuchten Kulturerbe.
„Insbesondere die COVID19-Krise hat gezeigt, wie wichtig digitale Lösungen sind, um künstlerisches Schaffen & das kulturelle Erbe Europas digital zugänglich zu machen“, so @MartinSelmayr bei einer Veranstaltung im Weltmuseum. 53% des 🇦🇹 Aufbauplans fließen in die Digitalisierung.
