I've written to the @officialgaa President, @mccartla, to propose the GAA organize a cultural event in Croke Park for those fleeing the war in Ukraine.
The GAA could play a very positive role in helping Ukrainian refugees to integrate in our communities!

@ComputerUser3 The point of the article is to say we can take defence more seriously while still being neutral. We are not the only neutral country in the EU, yet our intpretation is vastly different - the question is whether this fits with the modern world.

It's time to consider what is meant by Ireland's traditional neutrality and whether it can fit into the current global dynamic.

As a member of a party in Gov., it’s both infuriating & embarassing to have a target of 8,000 ha. tree planting per annum & only planting 2,000, (lowest since 1946) because of the Dept.’s own rules. (They tried blaming Europe!)
Please, someone, kick ass or abolish targets.

While the Irish government stepped in to ensure that students in Northern Ireland can continue to benefit from Erasmus exchanges, after Brexit people in NI are unfortunately no longer eligible for other Erasmus+ actions, such as #DiscoverEU and apprenticeship exchanges (🧵1 of 2)
