Making the Atlantic coast more attractive to sustainable marine aquaculture.
The EU-funded @Access2Sea project 🇪🇺 increases the attractiveness of the Atlantic shore for aquaculture #SMEs by enabling 🆕 business opportunities & easing the access to them.
And what about squid landings in the EU? Here are some numbers! In 2019, 32.707 tonnes were landed for a total value of €176 million.

Some numbers: the weighted average first-sales price of blackspot seabream in Spain from January 2019 to December 2021 was nearly 50% higher than in Portugal and 35% higher than in Italy.
