The 3-day familiarisation visit to northern Namibia by EU Ambassadors ended with a courtesy call to Ruacana Town Council. The Delegation then visited a 65-house development by Atenu Development & Etunda Irrigation Farm. We thank all stakeholders who made this mission possible!

Day 3 & Final of the Mission, the Ambassadors of EU countries visited Ruacana falls and the @nampowernamibia Ruacana HydroPower Station, Namibia’s largest power station by installed capacity of 347 MW.
Final visit for the day - Solar Power Plant in Outapi managed by InnoSun. The Plant converts renewable energy from sunlight into electricity!
The Ambassadors of EU countries attended the inauguration of Nakayale VTC ICT & Electronic Workshop in Outapi. The new infrastructure and equipment is made possible by funding from the EU & German Government. This is one of 3 Northern Training Hubs VTCs to be launched today!
The Omusati Governors and EU Ambassadors discussed various development matters ranging from Agriculture, Wood Production and TVET. The Governor emphasized that there’s a need for vocational skills to build Omusati region and Namibia at large!
Day 2 of EU Ambassadors familiarisation mission in the North. The Ambassadors are paying a Courtesy Call to Omusati Governor, Hon. Erginus Endjala at the Omusati Regional Offices in Outapi.
Now, the Delegation of EU Ambassadors is engaging local farmers , including those represented by NNFU. The local farmers are sharing their successes, opportunities and the challenges they face! The called on the EU and member countries to support their identified initiatives!
The Ambassadors of EU countries completed their trip to Oniipa by visiting EU-funded Sanitation Centers at Okalevona 1. These centers are helping to maintain health and increase life-spans. @WorkshopNamibia is proudly spread heading this project!
Following the visit to Oniipa Town Council, the delegation of Ambassadors for EU countries visited low-cost housing within Oniipa local authority constructed with materials from Finland @FinEmbWindhoek Plans are in place to establish a plant in the north for low cost housing!
