Before and After! The Centre was established in 2014 with a corrugated iron class. With the #EU funding of 2mil NAD, a new Centre was constructed in 2022 with more classrooms, a resource Centre, community hall, Reception & sanitation stations.
Second stop: EU-funded Namangundu Model Early Childhood Development Centre at Omaalala. One of the EUs focal point of support remains to be Foundational Skills!

The overall objective of the LSP is to promote entrepreneurship and enhance the livelihood of NCAs livestock farming communities in a sustainable way, while improving the performance of livestock value chain in the NCA. The programme is implemented in 8 NCA regions.

H.E. @SinikkaAntila, @EU2Namibia Ambassador officially handed over IT Equipment valued at N$4.5m to the @MAWLR_Nam as part of the EU funded Livestock Support Programme (LSP) in the Northern Communal Areas (NCAs). The total Programme funding is €20m or N$284m.

The list of IT equipment handed over for the EU-funded Livestock Support Programme: x80 HP Computers, x95 HP Laptops, x4 Heavy Duty Printers, x30 HP Network Printers, x8 Overhead Projectors, x20 External Hard Drives, and 20 Kingston USB Memory Sticks.
@MIRCO_NAMIBIA Deputy ED, Mrs Ndiyakupi Nghitiwamata thanked the EU for its continued support. She said the programme aims to promote entrepreneurship and improve livestock productivity in the NCAs.
In her statement, H.E. @SinikkaAntila said: “Today’s handover is a clear testimony of effective collaboration between the Namibian Government (through @MAWLR_Nam ) and @EU2Namibia . The IT equipment is equivalent to 4.5m NAD as part of the EU-funded Livestock Support Programme.
The @MAWLR_Nam Deputy ED, Mr Penda Iithindi welcomed all guests at the handover of IT Equipment. He notes that this is an important step in implementing the EU-funded Livestock Programme.
