We chaired a #MaritimeSurveillance awareness session that was organised along with @EMSA_LISBON and @Frontex.
It was directed to Member States' national authorities with the aim of further promoting #cooperation 👮🌊🎣
Yesterday @susan_steele_ met @vitcheva_eu, Director-General at @EU_MARE to discuss Fisheries Control issues, including #Mediterranean activities in support to the 🇪🇺 & the state of play of cooperation with United Kingdom 🇬🇧
Working together with @EU_Commission is crucial for us!
Meeting with the EFCA Chair @fabriziodonate in Brussels🇪🇺🇧🇪to keep him informed about the progress of our current work programme.
Also, we have already started preparing the next Administrative Board meeting to be held in Autumn 🍂.
Today in Prague 🇨🇿 we signed a #cooperation agreement with the @EU4Space 🚀🌌
This will add value to our work promoting maritime sustainability & more efficient maritime operations, thanks to the EU global navigation 🛰️system #Galileo

Today we have had the chance to participate in Spain's Scientific Research Council (@CSIC) event, Esfera Norte on #SustainableFisheries, a meeting point to discuss the challenges of the sustainable exploitation of fisheries.🌊🎣
We had the pleasure to host some 👩🎓👨🎓 students from the @GraoDXP of @uvigo!
We talked about our mission as an EU agency engaged in #FisheriesControl & gave them advice about career opportunities within 🇪🇺 institutions

We will define and assess regional risks in the NAFO regulatory area, this enables good planning of future deployments.
