Very good exchange of views with members of the Foreign and EU Affairs Parliamentary Committee in #Malta on rule of law matters.

We discussed ways to improve the fight against high-level corruption cases, protect media freedom and reforms related to the efficiency of justice.

Very good discussion with Jonathan Attard, Justice Minister.

We had an overview of the recent justice reforms & upcoming ones to improve the efficiency of the justice system. I also underlined the importance of ensuring close cooperation between @EUProsecutor & 🇲🇹 authorities.

We had a detailed update on🇲🇹reforms to address the #RuleOfLaw Report recommendations. We agreed on the importance of keeping channels of communication to the public, also in view of the enforcement of 🇪🇺 sanctions.
