While Slovakia is a champion in attracting Recovery funds for its people, neighbouring Poland & Hungary are losing EU funds - I said today at the @EPPGroup event in Kosice. We need committed pro European politicians to keep Slovakia on its successful track in the future.

Slovakia’s Recovery Plan was one of the first to be submitted and was adopted after only 2 months. I congratulated today @eduardheger who, as Prime Minister, implemented the necessary reforms that enabled Slovakia to already receive €2 billion. This needs to continue.

Two committees, @EP_Agriculture & @EP_Fisheries, have now voted to reject the proposal for nature restoration. This exceptional step shows that the @europarl_en is not ready to accept a proposal that only increases the costs and insecurity for farmers, fishers & consumers. 1/2

The clear majority which has today rejected the Nature Restoration Law in @EP_Agriculture confirms that farmers, citizens and we in Parliament have concerns with regards to this legislative proposal. It is good that it will not enter into force in this form.
