I am preparing for today's speech in the @europarl_en on Romania's accession to the #Schengen Area.
Schengen will be safer with #Romania inside it.
We celebrated over the past days in Bucharest 25 years of @YouthEPP.
The @EPP is strong in Europe also because it has a strong youth organisation. This is where many future PMs, ministers, MEPs began their political career. 1/2
We must strengthen the #EuropeanUnion. We must work together to prepare it for the future, to make it safer, more stable.
Young people must be fully involved in our decision process. They will live the longest with the effects of our decisions today. #YEPPinBucharest 1/2
People are rightly expecting solutions from the #EU in this #energycrisis.
We have already done much at European level, but we must be ready with new short and long-term solutions 👇
