Today, at the @EPP Summit. The EPP is fully committed to granting #Ukraine and the Republic of #Moldova #EUCandidateStatus.
To Ukraine and Moldova’s #EU membership bids, our answer must be clear: yes, let us get to work.
The #Recovery & #Resilience Facility Implementation Report, on which I was co-rapporteur, has been adopted by large majority in @europarl_en.
#EuropeanParliament’s position is now clear:
1️⃣ let us use available #RRF loans (over €200 bln) to develop energy independence. 1/2
We, @europarl_en, once again reiterate our full support for granting #Ukraine & Moldova #EUCandidateStatus, with overwhelming majority: 529 in favour, 45 against, 12 abstain.
Citizens of #Ukraine & #Moldova deserve a European perspective. We call on the #EUCO to grant it.

I presented today my report on #Croatia's #Eurozone accession in @EP_Economics.
The report is positive, which why I proposed to my colleagues to vote on it and approve Croatia's accession to the Euro Area in the @europarl_en. Key points from the report: 1/4
Croatia joining the Euro is a clear sign that the currency remains attractive.
@HNB_HR Governor Boris Vujčić and I discussed today the upcoming @europarl_en Report on #Croatia’s accession to the #Eurozone and the practical preparations needed for joining the Euro.
I congratulated #Croatia Prime Minister @andrejplenkovic and Foreign Affairs Minister @GrlicRadman, today in Zagreb on meeting the convergence criteria for #Eurozone accession. We also spoke about the practical preparation to introduce the euro. 1/2
We, @europarl_en, rejected today the proposal for a no-confidence motion against the @EU_Commission by rejecting @GreensEFA amendment to the #Poland Resolution.
