We must turn off the flow of energy payments to Russia. It is financing the Putin system. The new sanctions proposed by @vonderleyen to stop oil imports are a much needed step. Since Putin started the war we live in a new reality. Russia must lose this war. #StandWithUkraine️

We need to strengthen parliamentary democracy. Citizens decide about the future of 🇪🇺. National & regional parliaments should play a more active role in decision making and the @europarl_en should get the right of initiative. EU laws should be decided by majorities, not veto’s!
