Long-standing structural problems, such as the lack of economic diversification and an insecure and unreliable energy supply, make #Kosovo vulnerable to the rising global food and energy prices.
The coal-based and unreliable energy supply remains the prime concern.
#EU welcomes the adoption of the Strategy for the Roma and Ashkali communities, and the new Strategy against Domestic Violence and Violence against Women.
#Kosovo made some progress on the functioning of the judiciary.
The capacity of the judiciary and prosecution requires improvement.
It is key to improve the implementation of existing tools to safeguard the integrity, the independence and the efficiency of the judicial system.
Limited progress was made in public administration reform.
#Kosovo needs a professional and de-politicised civil service, and effective, accountable, reliable and citizen-oriented administration.

#EU's Kosovo 2022 Report recalls the July 2018 Commission report confirming that Kosovo has met all visa liberalisation benchmarks, and points at the role of the Council of the 🇪🇺 to adopt the decision.
