The 3-day familiarisation visit to northern Namibia by EU Ambassadors ended with a courtesy call to Ruacana Town Council. The Delegation then visited a 65-house development by Atenu Development & Etunda Irrigation Farm. We thank all stakeholders who made this mission possible!

Day 3 & Final of the Mission, the Ambassadors of EU countries visited Ruacana falls and the @nampowernamibia Ruacana HydroPower Station, Namibia’s largest power station by installed capacity of 347 MW.
Final visit for the day - Solar Power Plant in Outapi managed by InnoSun. The Plant converts renewable energy from sunlight into electricity!
The Ambassadors of EU countries attended the inauguration of Nakayale VTC ICT & Electronic Workshop in Outapi. The new infrastructure and equipment is made possible by funding from the EU & German Government. This is one of 3 Northern Training Hubs VTCs to be launched today!
The Omusati Governors and EU Ambassadors discussed various development matters ranging from Agriculture, Wood Production and TVET. The Governor emphasized that there’s a need for vocational skills to build Omusati region and Namibia at large!
