-address rising costs putting problems on implementation of projects
-direct investment to areas neglected by central governments such as the health

The recovery plan can't be implemented without local and regional authorities, you can't do it without cities. Its absolutely crucial that the implementation of the plan is not centralised. Moreover some governments are politicising the process. @trzaskowski_ #RoadToRecovery

In 19/27 #EU Member States, local & regional authorities (LRAs) have responsibilities to provide healthcare to citizens. Hence, while welcoming the agreement to establish a sub-committee on Public Health, we reiterate that a #HealthUnion can only be achieved by engaging LRAs.

🏡 Funds for #asbestos removal programmes (especially within the #RenovationWave) are essential. We have to financially support not only the removal of asbestos, but also its replacement. We also need new subsidy mechanisms (example tax reliefs) as well as information campaigns.
