Good meeting with Pramila Patten, Representative of the UN Secretary General on Sexual Violence in Conflict, on sexual violence in #Ukraine. It’s essential to strengthen cross-cutting efforts and coordination to prevent, mitigate and respond to conflict-related sexual violence
Accountability for #WarCrimes is the only way to help victims and their families heal. With over 23.000 cases currently open in #Ukraine, this is a gigantic task. It requires collection of storage of evidence, strong Ukrainian justice system and maximum coordination btw partners.

This will help them take forward reforms and improve situations where rule of law challenges exist.
