Good meeting with Minister @JuditVarga_EU 🇭🇺 ahead of #JHA
I underlined the importance of complying with the EU Court rulings and offered our assistance with addressing already identified systemic #RuleOfLaw challenges.
In the margins of the #JHA in Prague @EU2022_CZ, I had a productive meeting with @anna_maja, 🇫🇮 Justice Minister to discuss important priorities in the field of justice and #RuleOfLaw.
We also spoke about the Commission’s proposal #corporatesustainability Due Diligence.

As a result of a dialogue w/ Commission & consumer authorities, 16 airlines have now:
☑️ cleared the bulk of reimbursement backlog for flights cancelled during the pandemic
☑️ improved communication w/ consumers about #PassengerRights

The @EU_Commission just finished a screening of websites brokering car rentals. 🚗
Results: only 45% of websites checked were in line with 🇪🇺 #ConsumerProtection rules.
Improvements are necessary, to make the information on car rental conditions clearer to consumers. ⤵️
When it comes to online services, unsubscribing should be just as quick and easy as subscribing.
I welcome @amazon's commitment to simplifying and clarifying the process for 🇪🇺 consumers to cancel #AmazonPrime subscriptions 📦 ⤵️
