Politicians (MEPs & Council & Breton) will meet on May 23 to take stock & negotiate the most contentious points.

Advisors will then meet again 9x to prep final political negos on June 28, where we plan to conclude w the most innovation-friendly law possible! Keep you posted 🦾

Last week the negotiations on the #DataAct between @EP and @EUCouncil started! It’s the last step before the bill turns into a law 💪

For the kick-off of the negos Commissioner Breton told us that to him, the Data Act is the "most important digital law of this mandate" 🎤🫳 /1

I managed to strengthen relocation during negotiations, and prima facie was my idea.

But the derogations that prolong detention, I strongly oppose!

That’s why I asked my faction to abstain.

I will still fight for the good parts in trilogues with the ministers! 🙏🏼
