We need to enable Ukraine to trade with 🇪🇺 in order to stabilise its economic performance under these extremely difficult circumstances. Together with macro-financial assistance that had been approved by @EP_Trade earlier, it shows our commitment and solidarity with 🇺🇦.
Support for multilateralism and reform of the WTO at #TTC are to be particularly welcomed. Yet, the proof of the pudding is in the eating. So I hope that, despite very difficult circumstances, there will be some progress at #MC12. We need positive agenda, not block building. 🇪🇺🇺🇸

Großbritannien lehnt weiterhin EU-Pläne für Änderungen des Nordirland-Protokolls ab. Falls die britische Regierung das Nordirland-Abkommen in Gänze infrage stellt und sich für Lösungen verschließt, sind wir bereit auch harte Maßnahmen zu ergreifen, wenn es notwendig ist.

On 16 May @EP_Trade will discuss + vote on proposal to temporarily suspend custom tariffs for Ukranian products entering EU market and suspend collecting anti-dumping duties. Measures would certainly bring some relief to the Ukranian economy and are politically very relevant.
