Goed dat de Internationale Organisatie voor Migratie in kaart brengt hoeveel mensen sterven als gevolg van ons inhumane migratiebeleid. 252 doden in 2021 is al schandalig, maar vermoedelijk ligt het aantal dodelijke slachtoffers door pushbacks hoger.

This practice is a gross violation of international law. The EU needs to prioritize human rights in its relations with Turkey and condition EU migration related funding to the authorities upon strict compliance with non-refoulement of refugees.

Disappointed in @jeroen_lenaers for copying far-right talking points. Choosing between funding serious human rights violations and "rolling out the red carpet for everyone" is a false dichotomy.
