So sad & yet,so beautiful was the funeral mass of Dillon Quirke at Clonoulty today. His @TipperaryGAA & @ClonRossGAA colleagues couldn’t have given their beloved Dillon a finer tribute or better send-off. The whole community united in grief, love & respect. RIP Dillon.

Young people who have an Irish passport are Irish citizens, therefore no matter where they live, they are eligible to apply.

However, after reviewing the rules in detail, I highlighted to @EU_Commission that EU citizens, not just residents, should also be eligible. After consideration, the Commission agreed and issued new advice.

Great news for young Irish passport holders in #NorthernIreland!

Until now, it was believed that only residents of Erasmus countries could apply to #DiscoverEU for a free inter-rail pass. This meant that young people in NI were not eligible. (🧵1 of 2)
