Finally: lower roaming tariffs for the citizens of #Moldova.
The #EU and the Republic of Moldova signed today an agreement on reducing of roaming charges. This agreement is a strong signal that the European integration of Moldova continues.

The EU is supporting Moldova's authorities by adopting a mechanism of sanctions. The first list of people subject to sanctions was adopted at the European level. Sanctions include travel bans, as well as the freezing of assets and economic resources. 2/2

We would have been in a much more difficult situation if, in addition to dictator Lukashenko in Belarus, Russia had a pro-Russian regime in Moldova. Supporting the pro-European course of the country is in the interest of the EU and reflects the will of the Moldova's people.

"Road to Recovery" in Kosice was about being closer to people & mayors and having an open discussion on what was achieved about #RRF in Slovakia & what we can do next. The key conclusion: we can only do it together. Time is short; money has to be absorbed by the end of 2016. 1/2
