Re @whittledaway There are some, shall we say, ‘odd’ relationships between environmental NGOs and big carbon emitters. I’ve always thought the @BirdLifeEurope and @hd_materials questionable. Birdlife get old quarries to turn into lakes for birds and in return a cement producer gets a greenwash.
