In 2022, 15 000 people were returned voluntarily by scheduled flights and 9 900 by charter flights

Through reintegration assistance, Frontex provides support for voluntary returnees both in the first days following their arrival and also assists them for as long as a year to help them reintegrate into their societies. In 2022, we helped 1000 people start a new life back home
