Rökt Vättersik har beviljats ursprungsskydd av EU-kommissionen.

Det innebär att den sik som tas upp ur Vättern och tillreds på angivet sätt inom 10 km från Vätterns strand nu kan märkas med ursprungsbeteckningen (SUB).
