1⃣ has a human-to-human transmission,
2⃣ affects mostly male people from 18 to 50 y.o.,
3⃣ causes minor/moderate symptoms (mainly rash).

We will publish two guidance documents beginning of next week - first one, together with @WHO_Europe on the integrated respiratory surveillance, second - on autumn vaccination considerations.
We do not know yet what the epidemiological situation will be in the fall. It is important for the member states to prepare systematic surveillance not only for #COVID19 but other respiratory diseases, such as #influenza.
In order to achieve all these preparedness improvements and digitalisation of surveillance, significant investments and prioritisation of resources for public health will be necessary.
