We welcome the political agreement between the @europarl_en and @EUCouncil on the core elements of the new EU product safety rules.

Aligned and consistent with the Digital Services Act, the new rules will:
☑️ensure safe products regardless of their origin
☑️provide better protection for consumers
☑️ensure a level playing field for companies selling to consumers
☑️enable better enforcement by authorities
