Is this type of funding a problem?
It is, if you don’t you want your taxes to fund anti-Semitic Islamists monitored by German intelligence.
Right now, the Islamist European Muslim Union participates in 13 Erasmus projects receiving more than €900,000.

The Sweden Democrats then challenged the French presidency to change the rules governing grants in order to stop EU funding of Islamists.

We then challenged the Czech presidency to continue the work of the French and keep pushing the @EU_Commission to change the rules governing EU grants. The Czech minister was well aware of our campaign and continued work on the issue.

In July -22, the Commission claimed it takes the issue very seriously. But urgently needed reform proposals have still not been presented.

The 🇸🇪 government is well aware that @sdriks for a long time has pushed to change funding rules that Islamists benefit from. At home and in 🇪🇺.
That 🇫🇷 and 🇨🇿 presidencies pursued this issue and now 🇸🇪 will move forward towards concrete results is promising. But we need results.

The Swedish presidency also understands that public funding of Islamism also is a national and local problem.
I’m hopeful the 🇸🇪 govt that we support will achieve results both at European level and at home in Sweden.
But until they do, we will keep their feet to the fire.

At the end of the French presidency in June 2022 the Council stated that the EU should change its rules and stop funding organizations that undermine European values.
