First, we want to add violations of EU sanctions to the list of EU crimes and make it a criminal offence.

Those who violate sanctions must be brought to justice.

Just as we need diverse energy supplies, today we are too dependent on a handful of producers for key materials - like lithium or silicon metal.
 
For more balanced interdependencies and resilient supply chains, we need strong global partnerships.
