EU Member States are stepping up defense spending.
We must ensure that we extract maximum value from this spending as we:
• replenish stockpiles
• streamline procurement, incl. joint procurement to reduce unnecessary costs
• strengthen interoperability between Member States

We agreed in Versailles to phase out our dependency on Russian gas, oil & coal as soon as possible.
But this requires a plan: This is #REPowerEU.
It has 4 pillars:
• Saving energy

Global cooperation is the antidote to this blackmail.

Just as we need diverse energy supplies, today we are too dependent on a handful of producers for key materials - like lithium or silicon metal.
For more balanced interdependencies and resilient supply chains, we need strong global partnerships.
