For the @EPPGroup, condemning communism and its crimes is a moral question and an institutional duty.
We urge the Slovenian government not to ignore the victims. This extends beyond political ideology.
Glorifying communism can only widen the divide among people!

Today I spoke at the European Non-Territorial Autonomy Network conference.
The word #autonomy faces hostility in many European states. Plus, #minority rights are overlooked, hindering cultural diversity.
Cultural autonomy could empower minorities to be seen as equal citizens.
