Next week @EU_Commission will evaluate state of play of the Rule of Law in Hungary and EU funds. On behalf of @EPPGroup I say clearly: Hungary is not removing the breaches of the rule of law. All measures that were promised are not in place and working yet. 1/2

Thus we call on the Commission to hold back the money and see if all the measures are in place and effective. This is the important test for the whole mechanism, for the whole idea of conditionality. 2/2
