Great pleasure to discuss with Prime Minister @eduardheger on how to collaborate more closely on investigations of war crimes in 🇺🇦 & implementation of EU sanctions. We share the same determination to uphold 🇪🇺 values and #RuleOfLaw, also as a key principle while making reforms.
As part of my country visit in 🇸🇰, I had a meeting with the Deputy Speaker of the Slovak National Council, as well as representatives of the SMER and Hlas delegations.
I listened to their views on the latest developments as regards the #RuleOfLaw situation in Slovakia.

Fruitful discussion w/ Jàn Mazák, President of the Judicial Council. We exchanged views on the ongoing justice reforms in 🇸🇰
We discussed about the crucial role of national councils for the judiciary & the application of European standards as regards the independence of justice.
Very good meeting with Jan Šikuta, President of the Supreme Court to share views on #RuleOfLaw. We discussed the judicial map reform. We also underlined the need to speed up the digitalisation of the justice system & intensify the channels of communication between supreme courts.
