The new General #ProductSafety Regulation #GPSR has entered into force. 🇪🇺

It will ensure:

☑️better protection for EU consumers
☑️swift removal of dangerous products from the market
☑️more effective product recalls
☑️level playing field & clear rules for businesses

The circumvention of 🇪🇺 sanctions is a crime.

#StandWithUkraine also means complying with #EUSanctions against Russia.

I welcome @EUCouncil's General Approach on @EU_Commission's proposal for a Directive to criminalise violations of EU sanctions throughout the European Union.

I welcome @EUCouncil's adoption of a General Approach on @EU_Commission's proposal for EU #antiSLAPP Directive.

This is urgently needed to defend targeted threats against #EUdemocracy.

It will provide strong safeguards against SLAPPs in cross-border civil proceedings.
