The Schrems II ruling set the requirements for a new framework. These requirements were our mandate throughout the negotiations with the US. ⤵️

This debate was essential considering the role of @europarl_en for the preservation of fundamental rights, such as the right to privacy ⤵️

Vibrant debate with members of @CYParliament on reforms that 🇨🇾 is undertaking to follow up on the #RuleOfLaw Report and its recommendations. Implementation of all reforms will be key.

We also discussed ways to have more transparency in the enforcement of EU sanctions.
