@anthonyspeca I spent all yesterday doing the Eastern Region Green Party twitter results media, but thought I'd add my personal congratulations for your victory too 😊

RT @EastHertsGreen: Can't believe I prepped this post about 6 hours ago... and now we seem to be the biggest party in @Green_Elects @EastGreenParty t.co/UDy9A2oetu

RT @GreenJennyJones: It's been a good night so far for @TheGreenParty candidates. If you are part of that Green vote, why not join us to help in the future? join.greenparty.org.uk/

@wizardweb @Peston It's because they go in the bin that research shows you have to send a large number before you get the person to see what it says. And that's how people get to understand that voting Green would be right for them.

@wizardweb @Peston Plastic poster boards are reused. No one would throw them away.
Papers's not a problem. Most is recycled, recyclable and it's made from plants.
Grow up and get with it.
The environment is destroyed by oil, gas, aviation, factory farming, rainforest destruction for palm oil & soy

RT @rosierawle: "People are angry with the way the Conservatives are running the country into the ground, but are also telling us that they don't feel inspired by Starmer's Labour."

@carla_denyer says people are voting Green because "they want to vote for a party they agree with!"

- Yep! ✅ t.co/dKtobk7Kx6

Pretty clear what should be learned, I'd say. But we also need research into the negative effects of pushing vulnerable people to postal voting.
RT @lewis_goodall: Statement from Electoral Commission. They say overall the elections were “well run” but that voter- ID “posed a greater challenge for some groups in society and that some people were regrettably unable to vote as a result.” t.co/1IWAPN52Nv

RT @ZackPolanski: When @TheGreenParty say that people are appalled with the Conservative Government....

But find Labour utterly uninspiring....

And so they're voting Green for vision and practical solutions.

Yes, Worcester! 💚👏🏽

RT @chrisw100: SOUTH TYNESIDE results complete...
GAIN West Park from LAB
GAIN Cleadon and East Boldon from LAB
GAIN Biddick and All Saints from LAB
HOLD Beacon & Bents

Greens have cemented their opposition status to 9 seats - gains from LAB in very traditional Labour heartland

@ShakeyStephens Abusing candidates is actually against the law. But the tellers are not breaking the law. I'm pretty sure the candidate can do telling, the same as any other party volunteer. They only collect numbers. They aren't allowed to campaign or persuade you at the polling station.

🐦🔗: n.respublicae.eu/catherinerowe

@AnneWoodward_56 @ianbbdesign That's the opposite of what they did at my polling station. And what they did could do nothing whatever to establish whether you were the person on the register. Or entitled to be on the register. Totally irrelevant.

RT @chrisw100: Greens start this year’s election count with 537 Councillors on 161 Councils in England & Wales

How many Green Councillors will be added following counts tonight and tomorrow?

It's been one brilliant campaign 💚 t.co/y29emDrwCK

@Marlowe_UK Not true. It is not a two party system, and pretending it is undermines the efforts of those who put in great work to allow people a better choice and a real democratic process.
