RT @ACarpenDigital: Via @GreenRupertRead recall in the 2019 EU Parliament elections @catherinerowett was elected the first Green MEP for East of England. Ie the results In Suffolk didn’t come out of nowhere. How will the Blue Vs Green political front line turn out in the ? t.co/rJLo3cMsJb

It's ironic that the Met, unable themselves to protect women from rape, should arrest the volunteers who try to ensure that at least someone is looking out for the people on the street. 😳🇬🇧
RT @brokenbottleboy: The Met arrested members of the City of Westminster’s Night Safety team. They are volunteers. They were pulled last night at 2am and have been held for 14 hours. One of them came out of the station in tears. Police didn’t apologise.

@DStrungk Yes, I'm suggesting that it's badly overdue for review. It's unreasonable to force the monarch to commit to remaining protestant and raising protestant heirs. That should be a matter of conscience.
And besides, the CofE and Church of Wales aren't actually protestant churches.

RT @natehiggins: Are you kidding me? BBC Politics Live have a Brexit Party representative, but no Green or Liberal Democrat representative.

What on earth is going on?

RT @iandaveysussex: Not a great start from the new Labour leader of @BrightonHoveCC @BellaSankey
One would hope for a little magnanimity from a political and community leader.
Let's not forget the last time Labour won in B&H in 2019 they walked away in the middle of the pandemic. t.co/8ziuufq6ZR

RT @deeplyclassical: Weren't the musicians magnificent? To every chorister, composer, instrumentalist, singer, conductor, music director, and to everyone who helped them become what they are: today YOU made me proud of what my country can be and what its people can do. Thank you. t.co/CHTwBlVIHZ

RT @VixL: BBC. Come on. This is so poor. Greens increase their number of councillors and even Green run councils by a huge amount - and you focus on this? t.co/rkY0R8r8w9

@WelchJacinta Yes, now would have been a very good moment to modernise that and I'm surprised he didn't. Having taken that oath he can hardly undo it now. I suppose that they could prepare for it to be changed for next time. I wonder if he tried and failed this time 🤔

RT @eegarnett89: @TheGreenParty has made the biggest % jump of councillors in England and Wales after !

A huge 46% increase, compared to Labour's 10%, LibDems 16% and Conservatives -16%.

@CrednesCodPeace Perhaps now he's taken the oath he'll start upholding it and pointing out that he can't actually sign off the proposed legislation. That would give us an interesting constitutional challenge to the unrepresentative extreme government we have in Westminster at the moment.

@CrednesCodPeace Yes, it's time the monarch started to take seriously what their obligations are, based on the oaths, when presented with unacceptable legislation that doesn't comply.

RT @MidSuffolkGreen: Huge thanks to everyone who voted Green. We're now the largest party on the district councils of Mid Suffolk, Babergh and East Suffolk, with majority control of Mid Suffolk. Thank you to everyone who voted Green for real positive action for our communities and businesses. t.co/NglxTW098a

RT @natalieben: What a day! a historic moment, stepping up a league for the Green Party.

In 241 new seats, net gain of 200, the largest ever, now 753 councillors on 166 new councils.

And of course the first Green-majority council in Mid-Suffolk t.co/LYXrQ1F4oy

The king swore very properly to uphold good governance and freedom for the people of his realms. I hope he will challenge any unsuitable policing that has been taking place outside, to silence the voices of those outside in the streets. Too much oppression of dissent returning.

They should have removed the stuff about swearing to be a protestant and maintain a protestant succession. Well overdue that that was changed. And ironic to sing music by William Byrd straight after. Was that a coded message?

Lovely concert on @BBCRadio3 at the moment. His majesty must have had fun curating our Saturday morning for us 🙂

🐦🔗: n.respublicae.eu/catherinerowe

@yrieithydd Yes that can't be right can it? There should be a very slight increase during 2022 (from by elections and defections) and then a vertical rise on 2023.
