What she's supposed do is facilitate a UK-wide transition via government action and incentives, such as regulations, subsidies, infrastructure, grants.

Environment minister can't think of anything she's doing except a reusable cup. And remembers to encourage *others* to avoid food waste. Does she grasp the connection between fossil fuels and climate breakdown? Does she know what biodiversity is? Has she heard of bees or hedges?

This is the reality.
Sunak pretended to tax the dirty profits of the extraction companies. In reality the government is shovelling tax payers' 💷 to them (subsidising *everyone's* energy bills including the unoccupied third homes of oil magnates) and getting 0% back.
