RT @RhonddaBryant: Problems with Johnson.
1. Privileges investigation
2. His poll ratings with public rather than Tories
3. Ministers who resigned can hardly support him
4. Pincher
5. Adviser on ministerial code
6. He makes unforced errors time and again
7. He lies and can’t help it

RT @fossiltreaty: A year ago, the European Parliament voted on whether to call for a Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty.

It was defeated, badly ❌
168 for / 510 against

Today it passed ✅
450 for / 119 against

A huge shift in just 12 months & a credit to every MEP who made this possible.

@DavidRobjant It occurs to me that she might be right to speak impersonally as though the mistakes were not hers. For she was the puppet directed by advisers she brought from Tufton Street, and she thought they'd have a plan that would make her a resounding success. That was her mistake.

This is our problem. We keep thinking they might find someone with integrity and a sense of doing things for the right reason. But we've elected a party who do things for their donors.
RT @Britain_People: Liz Truss is funded by Shell. Kwarteng was funded by Investment bankers.

➡️Jeremy Hunt is funded by USA Healthcare.

RT @CarolineLucas: I wrote this for @theipaper back in July, just after Boris resigned - & as another PM bites the dust just 3 months later, it's all still relevant today. Our problems don’t end with Liz Truss – our whole politics needs an overhaul 👇

@iancallaghan @Amelia_Womack @Labour4Republic @RepublicStaff In theory the monarch could do that. We need to make it normal in situations of complete disorder and chaos with no competent leader in place.

RT @Amelia_Womack: We’re living in a constitutional crisis

This is the moment to be asking the big questions about the future of our democracy

It’s clear we need a Proportional System, House of Lords reform and clearer accountability.

From this chaos, let’s build something better

Looks like plagiarism to me. In fact isn't that the second formula he's pinched in a short space of time?
RT @euromove: At Labour Conference 3 weeks ago, European Movement took our message that we are in the Battle for the Soul of our Country to Labour members.

Today, @Keir_Starmer addressed the @The_TUC with the same message. We're flattered, but the message is clear:

We must win!

We won't see Truss back on the front benches. Probably not in parliament either once the voters get a say. Small slivers of progress among the chaos.
