De Poolse rechtsstaat is zwaar aangetast. Het wetsvoorstel dat op tafel ligt, verergert dit alleen maar. Ik heb er vandaag bij Eurocommissaris @dreynders op aangedrongen dat hij stelling neemt tegen dit voorstel en dat subsidies aan Polen bevroren blijven.

Always good to welcome friends of the Macedonian Parliament @SobranieRSM to Strasbourg. We discussed how to support and guarantee a smooth EU integration process of the country.

In 2021 Hungary introduced its anti-LGBTI law. Finally the EU Commission is taking action by bringing Hungary to court.

Together with my colleagues I'm calling on all EU-countries to join this case. To show Orbán that there's no space for hate and discrimination in the EU.
