Comisia a publicat o cerere de propuneri în scopul acordării unei finanțări de 4,1 milioane EUR pentru monitorizarea și apărarea libertății și pluralismului mass-mediei, prin programul „Europa creativă”.
Prin urmare, patru programe Interreg transfrontaliere care implică Ucraina și Moldova - Ungaria/Slovacia/România/Ucraina, Polonia/Ucraina, România/Moldova, România/Ucraina - vor beneficia de o finanțare majorată cu 68 % pentru anul 2022.
Comisia a primit din partea României prima cerere în cadrul Mecanismului de redresare și reziliență (MRR) pentru plata a 1,8 miliarde EUR sub formă de granturi și a 789,7 milioane EUR sub formă de împrumuturi (fără prefinanțare)
