@heatpolicyrich And we should all be frustrated by the fact that even when insulation actually happens it is done with 99% fossil fuel based products e.g. the insulation has a very high level of embodied energy. We must make a big shift to nature based insulation materials e.g. wood fibre.

We need to discuss food AND shelter at the same time, not separately. It should be a farming AND forestry debate. Only timber can decarbonise the built environment. Potentially our forests, farms & our buildings can all store carbon ie land use the key to the climate debate
