Welcome agreement found among 🇪🇺 MS on the €18b macro-financial assistance package for #Ukraine in 2023. This support will be framed by policy conditions to geared toward strengthening 🇺🇦’s institution, preparing for reconstruction effort & supporting 🇺🇦’s efforts on its 🇪🇺path.

The appointment of CC members is necessary to safeguard fundamental rights of 🇲🇪citizens. #EU supports that all political stakeholders take urgent action to ensure the operational functionality of the CC. To move on its 🇪🇺path 🇲🇪 needs also to respect the decision of Venice Comm.

Today we adopted another €220m financial package to improve border control at the Eastern border of #Türkiye ⏩️ reaching €1.2 b support.
We support the important work of 🇹🇷 to stop irregular migration flows, increase the nr of resettlements & resume returns from Greek islands
