Our trade imbalance and deficit is continuously getting bigger, which is unsustainable and needs to be addressed.

We need transparency, reciprocity, and a level playing field. Call it increasing strategic autonomy or de-risking, it comes down to the same thing.

Deeply shocked by the brutal video of decapitation of a Ukrainian prisoner of war. It is a despicable breach of the Geneva Conventions. All perpetrators and accomplices of war crimes must be held to account.

The agreement they reached on the text on the declaration on missing persons during yesterday’s chief negotiators meeting is a first step.
