Just perhaps, in this increasingly crazy world of ours, we need more ‘healing monks’.
RT @LuckyovLegends: the healing monk ⚔️

Just driven past what was RAF and feel disgusted by the scant regard our Govt. has for our military heritage. That they should ignore such a superb opportunity, is tantamount to vandalism. I haven’t forgotten when RAF Biggin Hill Officer’s Mess building was sold off.

I got on the scales this morning, three weeks after cutting out chocolate, sweeties and processed food, to find that I’m 7lb lighter. And I haven’t started exercising yet.

One of the finest pieces of music from modern times. And this certainly isn’t an April Fool.
RT @MichaelWarbur17: Spielberg: “I need a song for my dinosaur movie.”

JOHN WILLIAMS gave him THIS.

Apparently, my legacy blue tick is about it to go. Oh well, I’m still in ‘Who’s Who’ & on Wikipedia, & that’s not important either - Would sooner give the tick fee to charity, than spend my gelt on a vain ego trip. As my bio says ‘Fame, if you win it, comes and goes in a minute’.

Very sad to read of the sudden passing of Paul O’Grady. That instantly recognisable voice and the ability to laugh at himself always bought a smile to my face. Furthermore, his genuine love of animals marked him out as thoroughly decent man. My condolences to his loved ones.

Looking forward to giving my talk tonight at .@OMRS17995839 London Branch, on the remarkable, & almost unknown, brave stand of 43 men of the Gold Coast (now Ghana) Constabulary, at Dawkita in 1897, against 7,000 of Samory Toure’s slave soldiers: ‘The West African Rorke’s Drift’.

I really do love the cafe culture that’s breathed fresh life into parts of my home city. Yesterday, we had the most amazing brunch at .@waylandsyard. If you’re in , and your tummy is rumbling, give it a go. You really won’t be disappointed.

Somewhat of a dilemma.. Have been alerted to these four bundles of fun. It’s time to get my thinking cap on.

I came across an interesting pre WW2 India general service medal yesterday whilst cataloguing a number of damaged medals. A, planchet, (or disc) only, to an airman commemorated on the Singapore Memorial. A few years ago, it could have so easily ended up in the melting pot.

This platform has become a haven for pessimists. If not reading that ‘the end of the world is nigh’, there’s always a video recently posted with a view to deliberately wind people up - Trying to stick to posts about the lighter side of life is becoming increasingly difficult.

Having just seen Steve Bray’s disgusting post, my only thought is that it serves as a clear example of how some people, will never really understand the horror of the Holocaust, nor accept the sensitivities around the communities affected by it. We await another false apology.

On here’s my favourite photo of my Mum, who passed, far too young, some 36 years ago. Happy memories X

I’ve been saying for a while that I think there’s every chance that this year’s Rugby World Cup will be won by a northern hemisphere team; either France or Ireland. After today’s performance, I’m even more convinced.

All this furore over won’t affect me - I gave up watching it ages ago due to the frequent disappointment & agony it was causing me, when watching lose every week.
