I explained why clean-air zones like ULEZ (but also LTNs) are often anti-democratic and imposed despite public opposition or inconvenience. They are also often a stealth tax. The evidence on, for example, air quality or car congestion, is too often dodgy, or at least contested.

Final stages of the Public Order Bill. Good news, government accepted an amendment protecting journalists from arrest when covering protest. I argued to keep threshold high before police can close down demos, whether anti-LTN or lorry drivers going slow over fuel price - whoever.
