Bad enough having Mizzy on , he ran rings, mocking @BBCNews for inviting him on & accused broadcaster of fuelling Andrew Tate's fame by doing a long interview with him. Mizzy & Tate may 'do' notoriety for clicks/fame; What's the BBC's excuse? Cringeworthy/humiliating

So articulate @CeriLeeG (and courageous as well). So glad you are getting this story told. And thanks @JuliaHB1 for doing the interview. This legal 'loophole' that means that released sex offfenders can change gender, then name, and go under the radar, needs to be sorted asap.

Richly deserved accolades. @SpeechUnion is a treasure: a proper union that actually defends its members. Sadly a rarity: on free speech issues, too many trade/student unions either avoid them, or worse, act as censors themselves. Disasterous: TUs should be SO important for rights

Joyless, futile puritanism. Shame so many Irish politicians seem to think this is a recipe of being modern.
RT @DonnellyStephen: Ireland is to become the first country in the world to introduce comprehensive health warning labels on alcohol products. I’ve signed the regulations so that from May 2026 labels must contain details of calorie content, grams of alcohol and risks of liver disease and cancer. t.co/LHBBnaRkyZ

Yuk. No fan of @StopFundingHate's censorious anti press freedom boycotts at best of times. They demand corporate money bully media into compliance. Now they're inciting hate against sports women for merely defending themelves from male incursions. Maybe we should boycott them?

Shocking. Scary. Maybe a mistake but I warned re arbitrary power by banks in increasingly politicised/activist banking sector when discussed in Financial Services Bill, after dangerous precedent set by PayPal w @SpeechUnion & @UsforThemUK. Inevitably, Gov ignored my amendment.

Interesting thread, worth reading re event, which has generated lots of media coverage, much of which seems to have been less than insightful and / or fueled by its own political prejudice rather than the reality of the event. Thanks to @KonstantinKisin for some balance

I asked the government if a U-turn on abolishing Leasehold is acceptable when it was promised at the despatch box. Does the excuse that the law is too hard to change give us conformation of the Tories' weakness as legislators?

Later, I asked for a quick clarification from the government about how the public/individuals complain about problematic actions taken by Big Tech (which may well be brought about by this legislation).

My first attempt at speaking on Retained EU Law Bill thwarted as I had raised a question previously, and that counted as speech. Those are the rules - except I have seen so many do the same and not been stopped. Like the EU, the Lords is a 'rules-based system'. Until it's not.

So pleased @andrewdoyle_com hosted this exchange. Far more with @FraserMyers than @ABridgen but glad they faced each other. There should be NO ban on discussing any vaccine harms; not same as saying they're harmful per se & it IS conspiratorial to imply virus released as a plan
