We need a strategic Act that creates an environment for #innovation, investment & industry to flourish.
If data is the lifeblood of our #economy, then #Chips are the heart that keeps it pumping.
#EU funding must match our ambitions for the future. We must leverage public funding to maximise the impact of private investment.
However, funding is not a quick fix for short-term wins. We need long-term and sustainable levels of investment & a clear strategic vision. 4/4
The #ChipsAct means we are talking seriously about innovation that looks beyond Silicon Valley & towards manufacturing in Europe. This is v important for #EU jobs & growth.
