Last year, for the first time, more electricity was generated from wind & #solar than gas in the #EU, with 41 GW of new capacity in #solarenergy & a 15 GW wind capacity increase.
39% of electricity in the 🇪🇺 in 2022 was generated from renewable sources. We are on the right path!

EU gas consumption in Q4 of 2022 fell by 21%, year-on-year.
Retail gas prices for households in many 🇪🇺 capital cities significantly decreased in that same period for the first time since the beginning of the crisis.
