At #COP15, the EU & 196 countries agreed to restore 30% degraded land & waters by 2030
Now we need to turn this into reality!
At today’s @EUCouncil, we expect all EU countries who supported an ambitious 🌍 deal in Montréal, to also speak up for #NatureRestoration in the 🇪🇺

The winners of the #NatureRestoration law include:
🪵 Foresters, because diverse forests are less vulnerable to forest fires
🎣 Fishers, as restored marine areas lead to larger fish stocks
👩🌾 Farmers, as healthy soils are more productive, and less inputs are needed
