Following a new request for assistance from Italy, we have mobilised offers of pumping equipment from 🇦🇹, 🇧🇬, 🇩🇪, 🇫🇷, 🇵🇱, 🇷🇴, 🇸🇮 and 🇸🇰 the EU Civil Protection Mechanism to help the Italian authorities deal with heavy floods.

This week, we've cleared the acquisition of Activision Blizzard by Microsoft.

The approval is conditional on full compliance with the commitments offered by Microsoft, which represent a significant improvement for cloud gaming as compared to the current situation.

We launched an EU Energy Platform to pool our demand for gas and bring down prices.

The first tender of joint gas purchasing has been a success, with bids from reliable international suppliers to supply more than 13.4 billion cubic metres of gas.

Last year we doubled the additional deployment of renewable energy in the EU. And for the first time, we generated more electricity from wind and sun than from gas.
